So...you want a de luxe trip to broadway shows in New York?
A Chorus Line have an amazing contest and they call it "Be the One"!

The object of the contest is to upload an online audition and those who garner the most votes online will be selected as "The One" and awarded prize packages including the chance to win a grand prize trip to broadway!!!

The online contest is in conjunction with the ACL tour and each cities contests doesn't begin till a few days before the opening of ACL in your city....so check the official website often and keep in mind the tour schedule that I also included below.
The winners on each stops will be pooled together and a grandprize winner will be chosen from them for a chance to a paid trip to NY and a premium seat to a Broadway show!
Swanky deal huh?

Post your own audition, when the tour is near your city, at auditions.achorusline.com

ms_elle I know for a fact that the Republic of the Philippines is an English speaking country. At least 80% are English speakers. How the HELL did she win? I spoke better English when I came to the U.S. at the age of 13.

1:14 pm - Central Luzon High School
chuckyisluv Hey! I'm new to the community and I just wanted to know if any of you went/attend/ or know about Central Luzon High School. I'm going to move to Paniqui from Florida in the spring and will start attending Central Luzon High School after the summer vacation. I just wanted to know about the policies there and anything I may need to know. My main concern is facial piercings. My tita told me we can't have piercings on our face but I already have my nose pierced and plan to get snake bites on my lip soon. Thanks in advance.

8:07 pm - Cellphone Etiquettes
kyle3311 A must read for people with cellphone.

"Talk At A Normal Tone

Many cellphone users think that it is some how better to shout into a cellphone. Apparently they perceive higher voice levels with a better cellphone signal strength. Rather than shouting, when you can't hear the other person, why not go outside or in a area with a better signal strength?

Choose The Vibrate Mode Over Ringer

I can not see any situation, apart from broadcasting your latest downloaded ringtone, that would compel you to choose the ringer over the vibration mode. The vibration mode does the same thing that the ringer was originally intended for, it alerts you when you have an incoming call, however unlike the ringer this mode is less annoying.

Remove The Earpiece

Another annoyance is the number of cellphone users who insist on talking with you while having their ear piece on. You are consistently being placed on hold in mid conservation only to hear the ramblings of another semi-private conversation. If you have to take the call, at the very least notify the other party, that way there is no awkwardness. There is nothing worse than trying not to make eye contact with someone across from you who is not talking to you."

3:24 pm - Grappling

Oh ano square tayo?

Used to be when men or even boys get into a fight, o nagkahamunan, eh suntukan lang sila. Banatan. Labo-labo.

That's why it's weird to watch WWE. Alam natin na fake yung mga combinaciones nila, from the suplex to the sleeper hold.

Even if mangyari yon, di na square yon, at pangit panoorin. Iiwanan lang kayo ng mga uzi.

Weird yung pag nahulog ka eh tataas mo yung paa mo at sisipa-sipa para hindi ka malapitan.

Wala Lange.

Hey everybody! I've been in this flip community for awhile, I just never really posted.. nothing to post about really, but I just wanted to ask you guys something since i'm a Canadian filipino and sometimes there are words I don't understand. I thought maybe its more appropriate to ask here than anywhere else.

There is this word that just recently got broughten up to me that I never really heard of until a couple days ago and my friend keeps saying it to me LOL. I would ask my mom, but she's gonna ask me where I heard that word from, I just wanna know kung anong ibig sabihin ng "kilig"?

Its nice learning new words and getting familiar with it so I don't make myself look clueless the next time I hear it or the next time someone uses it on me. I was very fond when I went to the Philippines last year for 6 weeks and learned a few more words :)

Thanks a bunch! :)
